Stock donation offers a positive way to deal with challenges you may be facing around excess or surplus stock. Contact us if you –

- Prefer a simple, easy way to remove surplus
- Need to create space and reduce the overheads associated with excess products
- Are keen to review current ways of dealing with such goods

If any of the above sound familiar, you are in a great place to start a conversation with our team.
A note on tax relief
Many organisations are able to claim corporation tax relief when donating stock to registered UK charity. This can make the donation financially beneficial when compared to other methods of clearance and disposal.
Your finance team or accountant will be able to confirm you individual business situation and whether this advantage applies to your business and the requirements around this.
How we can support you through this process
When you first reach out our knowledgeable team can talk you through-
- The types of stock you have to clear (we accept most varieties of good saleable quality stock!)
- The frequency you feel you can donate. This can be once or at regular agreed milestones to suit your business needs.
- Any brand considerations or ways in which we should work
- How we can tailor our partnership to be unique to your organisation providing more value than just an exit route for goods
- The practicalities of that first donation
Our team will support you at every step of the process to make this as simple and easy as possible.
What types of stock can be donated?
We do not accept goods from the general public. Newlife operates a unique charity retail model focused on new, returned, and damaged items that are safe and suitable for resale or reuse. These include-
- Clothing footwear and accessories across mens, womens and childrenswear.
- Furniture items large and small
- Electrical and hardware goods
- Small electricals (subject to PAT testing)
- Toys including CEE labels
- Seasonal and promotional items
- Samples and press tailored goods
- End of line or clearance goods
If you are unsure please contact us and our team will advise feedback quickly.
